Research and graphic production of the pattern-design for the perforated panels on the façade of the ‘Cultural Cluster’.

I assisted Nicole Martens in developing the exterior of this site specific surface design commissioned by MVRDV, planned for the center of Zaanstad.

For the realization of this work we researched archive material of designs in traditional 'Zaanish' garment. This was used in the final design to create the patterns of the façade to fit the general plan of Zaanstad.
